The new Prosonic Flow G 300/500 is the ideal flowmeter for demanding applications in gas measurement, including wet gas. With optional integrated pressure and temperature sensors for optimum process control, the ultrasonic device offers reliable measurement of natural gas, process gas and gas mixtures as well as unique gas analysis functions.
Developed to measure both wet and dry gases even in fluctuating process and ambient conditions, the Prosonic Flow G ensures precise measured values (up to ±0.5% o.r.) with unmatched repeatability. Its robust design makes it possible to measure gases at process temperatures up to 150°C and pressures up to 100 bar, and since the measuring system and entire sensor housing surface is corrosion resistant, the Prosonic Flow G is especially suited for harsh ambient conditions. It’s therefore ideal for a range of applications in the chemical and oil & gas industries, including gas processing, process gas measurement, separator gas outlets, boiler inlets and CHP biogas.
The Prosonic Flow G is uniquely robust when measuring moist or wet gases. The innovative sensor concept is designed to drain away any condensate that forms, so the ultrasonic measurement is unaffected.
Unrivalled process control
The Prosonic Flow G can also be ordered with built-in temperature and pressure sensors. This means it can simultaneously detect multiple measured values that are important for process control. Ordering the ‘Advanced Gas Analysis’ function enables the calculation of process variables such as corrected volume flow, mass flow, energy flow and methane content.
Heartbeat Technology – for reliable measurement and maximum safety
Heartbeat Technology is integrated into the Prosonic Flow G and other Proline measuring devices. This testing function offers major advantages for safety: devices with Heartbeat continuously monitor themselves, they can be verified at the touch of a button without removing the device and they recognise influences that negatively affect their measuring performance. This makes processes safer, increases system availability and enables predictive maintenance.
