The new Proline 10 flowmeter line is uncompromisingly simple, user-friendly and intuitive.
Industrial process plants often use hundreds or even thousands of measuring devices. As a result, demands for simplicity in commissioning, operation and maintenance have increased significantly in recent years, particularly for basic applications. That’s why simplicity is the top priority for the new line of Proline 10 flowmeters from Endress+Hauser.
Proline Promag and Promass flowmeters stand for quality and experience. The Promass sensor technology has been proven in use for almost 40 years, with over 1 million devices sold. And Promag sensors have been on the market for almost 50 years, with over 2 million installed devices. In addition to the traditional quality indicators, customers are seeking minimum maintenance effort with maximum ease of use and low operating costs (OPEX). Proline’s tried-and-tested transmitter technology has therefore been evolved with an even stronger focus on simplicity and user-friendliness. This guarantees cost-efficiency and time savings through the complete life cycle, from procurement to commissioning and operation. This makes it easy for users to keep tabs on their basic applications, even in core processes. All of this comes without any limitation on measuring performance because every device is tested on accredited and traceable calibration rigs (ISO 17025).
Save time and costs
Commissioning is made easy with the help of an integrated ‘wizard’ that guides the user step by step to configure the device either through the optional touchscreen display or via Bluetooth using the SmartBlue app. The latter approach is particularly useful when devices are installed at difficult-to-access locations. If warning or error messages occur during operation, they’ll be categorised in accordance with NAMUR NE107, and the user will be offered appropriate remedies.
Suitable for all industries
The various Proline 10 flowmeters cover a wide range of basic applications in all kinds of industries. The Proline Promag electromagnetic flowmeters are ideally suited for measuring the volume flow of conductive liquids such as water (Promag W/H/D 10) or even chemically aggressive fluids (Promag P 10). The instruments meet the demands of basic applications in many industries including water and wastewater, food and beverage, chemicals, power and energy, life sciences and utilities. Common applications include volume measurement, consumption measurement, process monitoring, pump control and dosing measurement.
The Promass K 10 Coriolis flowmeter can measure both liquids and gases in utilities with minimal operating costs. The device can be used for filling and dosing tasks, process monitoring, pump control, consumption measurements and much more.
In the chemical industry, Promass K 10 is used to measure liquids such as acids, alkalis, cleaning agents and solvents, oils and alcohols as well as liquid hydrocarbons. As well as mass flow, Promass K 10 measures volume flow, temperature and, if required, density. With its one-of-a-kind gas fraction handler function, Promass K 10 will continue to measure even in inhomogeneous liquids with entrained gas.
