Iain Cropper takes over as managing director after Steven Endress moves to the Supervisory Board.
Steven Endress has stepped down as managing director of Endress+Hauser’s UK sales centre after seven years in charge. His successor is Iain Cropper, who boasts more than 20 years’ experience with the company including as a board director.
Iain Cropper has held various roles at Endress+Hauser since 2002, most recently associate sales director and director of operations. He said he was “committed to driving a customer-centric approach and investing in our people. This comes at an exciting time for the company, as we continue to expand our product offering, service contracts, automation solutions and presence in the UK market.”
Iain reiterated that staff and customers will be at the heart of Endress+Hauser’s strategy in the coming years.

Steven Endress, the first third-generation member of the Endress family to assume an operational role in the business, will join his cousin Sandra Genge on the Group’s Supervisory Board in January 2024. The 44-year-old grandson of the company’s founder has worked for Endress+Hauser since 2012 and served as managing director in the UK since 2016.
