Measured values you can trust are crucial for reliable, efficient and safe production processes. Heartbeat Technology is a way to increase the reliability of those measured values.
A measuring device equipped with Heartbeat Technology provides three functions:
- extensive self-diagnosis with clear remedy recommendations
- easy device verification during operation
- process data that simplifies monitoring and maintenance.
In liquid analysis, Heartbeat Technology can be used to continually evaluate the performance and ‘health’ of Liquiline devices and of all connected Memosens sensors. When the health value falls below a certain limit, you will receive a clear diagnostic message with remedy recommendations.
The complete measuring point can easily be verified – even during operation. A verification report is automatically generated with a clear ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ result for the Liquiline device and the connected sensors.
Predictive maintenance
Additionally, analytical Heartbeat devices provide measuring point and process data that allow you to identify trends. This means you can, for example, develop a predictive, condition-oriented maintenance schedule or optimise your production process regarding yield, quality and safety.
The diagnostic information provided by Heartbeat is available on the Liquiline device display, in generated verification reports, and can be communicated for monitoring purposes over fieldbus to a control system.
Heartbeat status
Heartbeat Technology offers a diagnostic function that continually calculates the status for the Liquiline device and each connected sensor. The Heartbeat status is presented through a smiley icon on the Liquiline device display.
The icon represents both the health condition of the sensor or device and the maintenance timer. If the sensor becomes worn or is due for maintenance or calibration, the smiley icon changes to let the operator know.
